Service Check List

Here is a checklist of some of the standard services performed on your PC:

  • Download and install updates for Windows, Antivirus, Antispyware, and Firewall.
  • Scan your hard drive(s) for viruses, spyware, malware, adware, worms, dialers, hijackers, keyloggers.
  • Data back up.
  • Hardware physical inspection and clean up (motherboard, CPU, fans, hard drive, floppy drive, I/O cards, power supply, etc..).
  • Uninstall unused and unwanted software.
  • Stop programs from unnecessarily booting up with the system.
  • Clean sweep files, unused data, and registry entries that may be residual from installation attempts.
